- On December 1, 2015, ArcBest Corporation (“ArcBest” or the “Company”) announced the completion of the acquisition of Bear Transportation Services, LP (“Bear Transportation”) by ABF Logistics, a subsidiary of ArcBest, in a transaction valued at $26.0 million
- Bear Transportation will add scale to ABF Logistics’ brokerage operation and further enhance its logistics technology platform
- The acquisition is the second of the year for ArcBest after its purchase of Smart Lines Transportation Group in January 2015
- Stephens Inc. served as the Company’s exclusive financial advisor in the acquisition of Bear Transportation
