On September 10, 2026, Chimney Rock Equity Partners, LLC (“Chimney Rock”), an Austin-based private equity firm, announced that it has made a strategic investment in Russell Equipment, Inc. (“Russell” or the “Company”), one of the world’s largest single sources for off-lease aftermarket material handling equipment, components and services.
Headquartered in Twinsburg, Ohio, Russell is a critical connection between leasing companies, equipment owners and dealers. Founded by the Russell family, the Company has grown significantly since starting with a single location in 1982, and now operates out of four strategic locations and serves customers in 25+ countries.
