Transaction Details
On 28 May 2026, FN Browning Group (“FNBG”) announced that it has entered into a strategic acquisition agreement under which the Group will acquire Accuracy International (“Accuracy”), a global specialist in precision bolt-action rifle systems serving armed forces, law enforcement agencies and highly demanding sports shooters worldwide. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
Accuracy will remain focused on what defines its reputation: uncompromising precision, robustness and performance. It will benefit from FNBG’s global footprint, industrial scale and long-standing experience.
This strategic combination brings together two highly complementary players and further strengthens FN Browning Group’s leading position across both its Defence & Security and its Hunting & Sports Shooting divisions, while making a significant contribution to the UK’s sovereign industrial capabilities in small arms.
