- On May 3, 2023, Belden Inc. (“Belden”) announced that it has acquired Germany-based Berthold Sichert GmbH (“Sichert”) on April 17, 2023 for €90 million (~$98 million)
- Sichert designs, manufactures, and sells a range of polycarbonate street cabinets utilized in outside plant Passive Optical Networks (“PON”) and 5G networks
- The acquisition of Sichert further strengthens Belden’s Broadband Solutions portfolio and will support them in providing end-to-end solutions to customers in key growth markets
