Transaction Details
- On 1 April 2021, Intermediate Capital Group(“ICG”), announced the completion of its investment in The Broadstone Group (“Broadstone”) replacing the previous sponsor Livingbridge
- Stephens advised ICG on the terms of the investment and also assisted in arranging a bank club term loan and acquisition debt facility from NatWest, AIG, Hermes and Bank of Ireland. Stephens also worked alongside ICG and Broadstone’s management team to identify additional M&A opportunities
- Broadstone has grown rapidly under the leadership of CEO Grant Stobart, and with ICG’s support will be able to expand its areas of focus, both organically and through further M&A. Management was also able to make a substantial further investment in the business as part of the transaction
