Transaction Details
- On June 17, 2024, JBR Auto Holdings Limited (“JBR”) announced its agreement for JBR and its subsidiary companies, including JBR Capital Limited (“JBR Capital”), to be acquired by Shawbrook Bank Limited (“Shawbrook”). The transaction completed on September 30, 2024.
- JBR’s founder and COO, Darren Selig commented, “This acquisition will enable JBR Capital to leverage Shawbrook's established platform and resources to further enhance our customer proposition, serving more customers in our segment of the market and continue to #fundyourpassion.”
- For Shawbrook, the acquisition not only broadens the Group’s offering within the regulated motor finance sector but also reinforces its commitment to provide finance to customers in clearly defined markets who value a premium experience.
